Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses

  • B.Tech: Diploma in Engineering/ 10+2/12th or its equivalent of a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects, with not less than 55% marks in PCM.
  • B.Sc: 10+2 or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers.
  • BBA: 12th or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers or in the subject concerned.
  • B.Arch: Candidate who has passed 10+2 examination/ 3-year Diploma (10+3) and has secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry as subjects shall be eligible.
  • B.A.: 12th or an equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in the subject concerned.
  • B.A. LL.B: Candidate passed the class 12th examination in the 10+2 scheme or its equivalent in any discipline securing.

PG Courses

  • M.Tech: Bachelor’s or any other equivalent and Relevant degrees in Engineering and Technology only with not less than 60% marks.
  • M.Arch.: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent degree recognized by Council of Architecture with a required percentage of marks.
  • M.Sc: B.Sc./ B.Sc. (H), B.A./ B.Pharma with a required percentage of marks in the subject concerned.
  • M.A.: A bachelor’s degree with an advanced diploma from any recognized university/institute with a required percentage of marks in the subject concerned.
  • MCA: Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Natural Science / Social Science/ Engineering /Technology/ BCA/ BSc (IT/CS) with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade and Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or higher level.
  • MBA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade.
  • LLM: B. with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade points.

Jamia Admission Procedure

  • The admission will be provided only on a merit basis.
  • On the basis of score in entrance exam and interview round the merit will be prepared.
  • If any candidate fails to show their original certificates at the time of admission, then their admission will be rejected.

Jamia Admission Guidelines

  • For admission to the BDS program, candidates have to appear in NEET.
  • Admission to B.Tech/B. Arch will be provided on the basis of the JEE Main score.
  • For all other courses, admission will be offered on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by JMI University followed by an interview and other processes.
  • The candidate will not be shortlisted for interview round if got the marks less than 30% in the descriptive part of the entrance exam.

Admit Card

  • On the registered mobile number through SMS, the admit card related information will be notified to the candidate.
  • Candidate can avail it and print the admit card once it will be issued on the website.
  • Candidates have to paste their recent passport size self-attested photograph in a specified place.
  • Print the two photocopies of the online generated admit card.

Result

  • The result will be declared online on the website.
  • A separate merit list will be prepared by the University for each Course.
  • There is no provision to request for re-checking/re-evaluation of answer sheets.
  • The list of the selected candidates and waiting candidates will be displayed on the website.
  • On the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam, the merit list will be maintained, applicable reservations and relaxations.
  • The result will not be sent to any candidate individually.
