Kannur University B.Ed 2023: Kannur University came into existence earlier by the promulgation of an Ordinance by the Governor of Kerala, on 9 November 1995. The former Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala inaugurated the University on 2 March 1996. Kannur University will provide Application Form for different courses. The university provides admission to various undergraduate, Post Graduate courses through the admission process. It offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) to candidates with a graduation degree. There are 50 seats in total available for admission each year. On the official website, Admission notification comes out in the month of May, every year. Eligibility Criteria

• Applying candidates must be qualified B.A./B.Sc/M.Com Degree examination (under the 10+2+3 pattern) from this University or any other University recognized by this University as equivalent thereto.
• The above qualification should be passed with one main/core subject and two subsidiaries/ complementary courses.
• For admission to B.Ed Degree Course: Applicant who has passed their qualifying Examination from Universities outside Kerala should submit Eligibility/Equivalence Certificate stating.
• For admission to B.Ed Degree Course: candidates qualifying Examination is recognized by this University, in a particular optional subject in a stream as applicable, along with their application.
• If Double or triple main candidates furnish copies of the Equivalence/Eligibility certificate from Kannur University stating then Universities will be considered for admission.
• Equal weightage is given to triple main Degree holders and Single main, double main.
• For admission to B. Ed. Course: A minimum 50 % marks or equivalent CGPA in Bachelor’s Degree [Science/Arts Subjects]
• For (Common, Core, Complementary and Open Courses) together, Part I + II+ III with 50% or equivalent CGPA in MA/M.Sc/M Com.
• for (Core and Complementary courses) alone, Part III with 50% or equivalent CGPA in MA/M.Sc/M Com.
• Relaxation for the reserved categories will be given as per University/Government/NCTE Norms.
• The entire application should be physically fit and mentally sound.

The applicant can fill up the application form of Kannur University B.Ed Admission 2023 in both Online or Offline mode to take admissions in Kannur University. Application Fee

• The application fee will be Rs. 280/- for General Candidates
• For SC/ST Candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 110/-

Reservation

As per the norms and rules of the University/Government, there shall be a reservation of seats laid down in this regard and adopted by the Kannur University from time to time. The seats reserved under Teachers’ Quota (TQ), Differently Abled (DA) Defense Quota (DQ) sports quota (SQ), and Linguistic Minority (LM) at three centers are as follows.
