KSET 2023: KSET stands for Karnataka State Eligibility Test. For the candidates who want to be a Lecturer or Assistant Professor in a reputed Institutes/Universities in Karnataka, KSET is conducted for those candidates. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have secured 55% marks in Masters in subjects for which candidate is applying {Minimum marks criteria for reserved category candidates is 50%}.
• Applicants who are in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply for the exam, but they must pass the exam with the required marks within the given time.
• Applicants who had qualified the previous KSET in any subject are not allowed to sit in the same subject.
• 5% age relaxation will be given to the candidates who belong to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe.

KSET 2023 Application Form

The notification for Lecturer and Assistant professor has been released. Candidates need to fill the online Application Form of KSET 2023 before the last date to be a Lecturer or Assistant Professor in a reputed or recognized university. The authority is expected to conduct the Karnataka SET Examination in the last week of December 2023. The examination will be conducted at various examination centers.

Selection Process

• Applicants need to qualify for the rounds prescribed by the examination authority.
• The applicant must be clear of the written exam to get a selection.

Exam Pattern

• The test will comprise three papers.
• The examination for all three papers will consist of only Objectives Questions.

KSET 2023 Admit Card

The examination is expected to be held in the last week of December at the various examination center. The higher authority of examination will release the Admit Card on the official portal. Enrolled candidates can download the call letter of exam 10 to 20 days before the examination

• The Syllabus for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test examination will be the same as UGC/CSIR-NET.
• The syllabus for all the subjects can be downloaded from the official portal.
• To get well marks as well as satisfactory rank, candidates should have complete knowledge of the syllabus.
• General Paper will be on Teaching & Aptitude (Paper I): General Awareness, Comprehension and its relating to Karnataka State Geographical, Social-economic, Reasoning ability, Divergent thinking, Environment, Historical, Climate, Political, Education and technological knowledge, etc.
