Eligibility Criteria
UG Courses
- B. Tech.: Passed 10+2 with 50% in PCM along with 50% marks in Mathematics subject specifically
- B & AH: Passed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- B.Sc.: 50% marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream
PG Courses
- M.Tech.: B.Tech (Dairy Science and Technology) or B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)
- M.Sc.: Graduation or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
- MS: Bachelor’s Degree in Biosciences (Botany, Zoology, Veterinary Science, Forestry, etc.) OR BSc (Poultry Production and Business Management)
- M.V.Sc.: Passed in B.V.Sc. recognized by the University with an OGPA of 6.0/10 (SC/ST candidates the OGPA shall be 5.5/10 or equivalent) or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of 50% marks in the traditional system.
Research Courses
- Ph.D. (Veterinary Subjects): Post Graduate Degree (Masters Degree in Science subjects) Examination with at least an OGPA of 7.5/10 or equivalent OGPA or equivalent percentage of marks at Master’s Degree level.
- Ph.D. (Biosciences): Post-graduation degree in the science stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate/an equivalent OGPA/equivalent degree recognized by UGC
- Ph.D. (Climate Change in Animal Agriculture): M.V.Sc/M.S (Integrated) CCA / post-graduate degree in Agriculture Sciences or Fisheries or M.Sc Biological Sciences or Physical Sciences with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST category) marks or equivalent. Candidates with OGPA are also eligible to apply.
