Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc. (Ag.)
- Passed 12th class examination with prescribed percentage of marks mentioned in the admission notification.
- The above qualification should be passed with Agriculture / Science group of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or equivalent
M.Sc. (Ag.)
- Through a state, level competitive Pre-Post Graduate (Ag.) Test Admission to M.Sc. (Ag.) is done.
- For general candidates: candidates must have passed the B.Sc. (Ag.) degree examination of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur with 6.00/10.00 OGPA.
- For SC/ST candidates: candidates must have passed the B.Sc. (Ag.) degree examination of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur with 5.50/10.00 OGPA
M.B.A. (Agri-Business)
- Residential: The candidate must fulfill the residency requirement of Rajasthan as prescribed by the Government of Rajasthan.
- Academic: Candidates with minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree in agriculture & allied disciplines (Forestry / Home Science / Horticulture /Veterinary Sciences/ Agricultural Engineering / Dairy Science / Dairy Technology / Food Science / Food Technology or Fisheries) from any Agricultural University or Institution recognized by the ICAR are eligible for admission in MBA (Agribusiness) program.
- AICTE with a minimum of 60 percent marks (55 percent for SC /ST / OBC) is eligible for admission in MBA (Agribusiness) program.
Ph.D. (Course Work):
- Candidates can admission to the Ph.D. program based on merit and interview.
- They must have an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 7.00.
- General candidates must have the 10.00-point scale or equivalent percentage of marks at the Master’s degree level in the concerned subject.
- SC/ST Candidates must have a 6.50/10.00 -point scale or equivalent percentage of marks at the Master’s degree level in the concerned subject.

Before filling the application, form Candidates can check the online application process for various courses available at (MPUAT). Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology provides an offline application process for admission. From the university campus, the Offline Application Form will be available. From the University they can get the application form and prospectus. When purchasing the application form the application form fee should submit to the university. Candidates will have to appear for the interview conducted by the University for the Ph.D. courses.
Counselling
For admission to UG and PG, programs all the candidates selected will be required to complete the payment of the required fees. When they are allotted, a seat during the counseling process they must be completed all the formalities for the admission process. The candidate who is listed in ICAR is also given admission. Candidates must have all the original and important documents for the counseling and interview process.
