OTET 2020: Odisha TET Application Form

OTET 2020: Odisha TET is the test organized in terms of choosing eligible teachers of both primary and upper primary levels. Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the state government of Odisha, abbreviated as OTET.  It is conducted at the state level. Eligibility Criteria

Category A (Paper 1):

  • Students clear the 12th class exam with 50% marks from the recognized board along with that, you will also have to pass a diploma of 2 years in elementary education.
  • Have to complete 10+2+3 in any of the streams and pass the diploma of elementary education for 2 years.

Category B (Paper-II):

  • Aspirant passes the 10+2+3 with at least 50% marks and along with it a one-year diploma in B.Ed.
  • I also have a one-year B.Ed with Special Education.
  • Students clear the 12th class exam with 50% marks from the recognized board marks and four years for B.A Ed/BSc. Ed.
  • For the SC, ST, OBC/ SEBC category there is a relaxation of 5% for all the candidates.

Steps to fill OTET Application Form

  • Assess the official site i.e. on bseodisha.nic.in
  • Search for the link Odisha TET Application form and click on it.
  • Fill the required details in the application form.
  • Remit the application fee charges.
  • Upload the scanned images and documents in the specified space and submit it.
  • Review the form before the final submission.
  • Take a hard copy of the application form and keep it safe.

Application Fee

  • Application fee amounts to Rs-350/-
  • Mode of payment can be done through E-challan.

Exam Pattern

  • It consists of 150 questions.
  • The question paper carries 150 marks.
  • The duration of the examination is 2 ½ hrs.
  • Only the MCQ type of questions will be asked.
  • The candidate has to secure 60% marks in each paper in order to qualify the test.

OTET 2020 Admit Card

Only eligible and successful registered candidates will be issued Odisha TET 2018 Admit card. Admit card contains the details of the candidates like candidate name, roll no, date & timings, the venue with the complete address and instructions to be followed during examination hall. No electronic gadgets will be permitted in the examination hall. Admit card most important and compulsory document required during the examination and will be kept safely till the time of admission procedure.

Steps to download the admit card

  • Visit the official site i.e. on www.bseodisha.nic.in.
  • Search for the examination tab and follow the OTET Examination link.
  • Press the admit card link to download it.
  • Enter the details regarding Registration No., DOB, Father Name, Password and then press enter on “view my admit card” button.
  • Odisha TET 2018 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and save it.
  • Take the printout of the Admit card and don’t forget to carry on the examination date.

Result

The result will be disclosed after a few days of the commencement of the exam. Authority will disclose the result on to the official site of OTET.
