TNSET 2023: Mother Teresa Women’s University organizes the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET) to recruit candidates for the post of assistant professor. It is a state-level entrance test organized for a total of 26 subjects. The said post will be given in a reputed university in respect of Private, Government, and aided of Tamil Nadu state. Eligibility Criteria

• A master’s degree from Institutes or Universities recognized by UGC New Delhi or equivalent examination with subjects like Science, Social Science, Electronic Sciences, Computer Science & Application, Humanities (including languages), and library & Information Sciences is required to apply.
• Candidates should have at least 55% marks for General/OBC (Creamy Layer) in the above-qualified exam (50% marks for OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/ ST/SC/ PWD).
• The appearing candidates in the final year of master’s degree are also eligible.
• There is no age limit to apply for the TNSET.

The application process will be online. Fill in the personal, communication & education details right after reading all the instructions carefully. Upload scanned images of passport size photograph, signature, and other required documents. Pay the application fee online through net banking, debit card, and credit card to complete the form as:

Exam Pattern

• The exam is conducted offline mode.
• An OMR sheet is provided to mark the answers.
• The exam is divided into three papers.
• The paper will be in English or Tamil languages in a few subjects.
• 2 marks are assigned to the candidate for every correct answer.

Counseling

Candidates must secure the cut-off marks to participate in the counseling. The authority shortlist the candidates for the interview round after a few days of the written result date. The qualified candidates of the written test can only attend the personal interview. The successfully qualified candidates of the personal interview round will be considered for the Assistant professor.
