VOCLET (Vocational Lateral Entry Test) is conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCT & VE). This Entry exam test is conducted for students who are interested in Polytechnic courses from the Second year in any Specialization they want. This exam is specially conducted for the students of West Bengal to get admission in various polytechnic institutions or universities in West Bengal. Eligibility Criteria
The candidate who is appearing for this exam must go through the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form which is as follows:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India
- The candidate must be a resident of West Bengal
- The candidate must have passed the class 12th examination or have passed the course of WBSCT & VE or must have passed 2 years ITI or Madhyamik or any other equivalent course.
- Vocational courses from any other board other than WBSCT & VE will not be considered as eligibility criteria for this exam.
VOCLET 2023: Application Form
The students who want to fill out the application form for the year 2023 can go to the official website of the conducting body and fill out the application form there. The candidates can fill out the application form in both online and offline mode.
For online mode, the candidate can go to the website www.webscte.co.in and fill out the application form
For offline mode, the candidate can go to any government or government-sponsored polytechnic college affiliated with WBSCT&V&SD (TED) to collect the form.

Exam Pattern
It is very important to know about the exam pattern before preparing for the exam. Having a brief idea about the exam pattern helps the candidates to prepare better and score well in the examination. Below are the details related to the examination pattern for the year 2023:
- The examination will contain 2 rounds. The first round will have questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry whereas the 2nd round will have questions from Mechanics and Computer
- The examination will contain multiple-choice questions
- For every right answer, the candidate will be awarded 1 mark whereas for every wrong answer 0.25 mark will be deducted from the total.
- Both exams will go on for 1 hour each and will contain 100 marks.

VOCLET 2023: Admit card
Admit cards for the VOCLET exam will be provided to the candidates through online mode only. The candidates who have successfully filled the application form and submitted the application form fee will be able to download the admit card.
The students can go to the official website mentioned above and download the admit card by entering the application number which will be provided at the time of filling out the application form. The candidate must download the admit card and take the printout because it is necessary to carry the admit card in the examination hall, otherwise the candidate may not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
VOCLET 2023: Exam Result
The exam result for the year 2023 will be out on the official website. The candidates can check their results by using their roll number and date of birth.
The result of the exam will totally be performance-based, so the students must work hard for the exam.

- The students who have cleared the exam should proceed to the further process which is the counselling process.
