Delhi CET is commonly known as Delhi Polytechnic exam. Delhi Common Entrance Test (CET) is a state level test for the admission in Diploma courses and for the lateral entry diploma program. Department of training and technical education, Government of Delhi conducts Delhi-CET. This exam provides admission to various full-time diploma courses in the field of engineering, technology, pharmacy, etc. These courses provided into government as well as private polytechnic colleges of Delhi. Candidates who want to take admission in one-year courses in World Class Skill Centre have to go through Delhi CET. Candidates can apply only for one test from the given options. - Candidate must have passed the 10th examination under the system of 10+2.
- In qualifying, examination candidates must have secure 35% in science, Mathematics and English.

Diploma course in modern office English./ One year certificate course in Hospitality Operation, Retail Services, Finance Executive in WCSC.
- Applicant must have passed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized board.
- Candidates have to secure at least 45% aggregate in qualifying examination including English in the best three subjects.
- Relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates.

Diploma course in modern Office- Hindi
- Applicant must have passed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized board.
- Candidates have to secure at least 45% aggregate in qualifying examination including Hindi/Sanskrit in best three subjects.

1-year certificate course in Software Testing Assistant in WCSC.
- 10+2 passed or appearing candidates are eligible for the examination.
- Candidates have to secure at least 45% aggregate in qualifying examination including Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics in best three subjects.

Lateral Entry admission
- Must have passed 10+2 from any school located in Delhi Or passed 10th and ITI from any Delhi based ITI in Engineering.
- The aggregate of 60% in the best 5 subjects.

Delhi CET 2020 Application Form
- The mode of application for the Delhi CET is Online.
- No other mode will be acceptable for the submission of application.
- For each test, applicants have to apply separately.
- Applicants have to attach scanned copy of signature and photograph in the application.
Application fee
- Applicants have to pay Rs. 400+ bank charges +GST, as an application fee for the Delhi CET.
- Application fee can be paid by debit card/credit card /net banking.
- Applicants can also pay through E-Challan from any of branches of Corporation Bank of India.
- The application fee is non –refundable Asset.

Exam Pattern
- Mode of Examination: The mode of Examination is Pen and Paper mode.
- Number of Question: 150 questions.
- Language: For test 2 the language of the exam will be English, for test 3 language will be Hindi and for test 1, 4, 5 the question paper will be of both language, Hindi and English.
- Duration of Examination: The duration of Examination will be of 2hours 30 minutes.
- Marking Scheme: Candidate will get 4 marks for each correct answer.
- For each wrong answer, 1 question will be deducted.
- Only multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
