HTET 2023: The Haryana School of Board Education (HSBE) conducts the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test for the post of PRT, TGT, PGT teachers in the state. The Application Form will be available online mode. Haryana School of Board Education exam is mandatory to secure a teacher’s job in the state. Candidates who qualify for this exam have been eligible to teach in the government schools recognized by DSE. Eligibility Criteria

Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I)

  • Candidates should have passed in 12th class (or its equivalent) with 45% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 2-year Diploma in Education in Special Education \ 4-year B.El.Ed is also eligible (or);
  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with (50 % marks) and B.Ed qualification can also apply. The candidate who has passed Graduation or appearing in the final year of two years Diploma in Elementary Education can also apply.

Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper-II)

  • Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree (B.Sc./B.A./B.Com etc.)
  • Applicants with 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), two years D.Ed./ B.Ed (OR), 4-year BA/ B.Ed (Special Education), B.Sc.Ed or B.A. (Ed.), B.Sc. (Ed.) with 50% in BA or B.Sc., both Appearing & passed candidates are eligible.

For Lecturers of Class XI-XII

  • Candidates should have a Post Graduate (PG) Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject from a recognized university. Applying candidate must have Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects or a Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit.
  • Candidate must have 83 marks for SC/ PWD candidates and 90 marks for all others including other State candidates.

HTET 2023 Application Form

Candidates are required to click on the online payment and enter some details like date of birth candidate’s name, mobile number, etc. Proceed for payment after entering all these details. Through net banking/credit, card/debit card candidates can pay the application fee. As a next step, start filling the application form. Now candidates must fill in all the required details like Address Details, Details about common entrance tests. They can upload documents such as signatures and photographs. Candidates are required to print their filled and submitted Application Form for further purposes as the last step of the process.

Cut off Marks

The cut-off marks for Haryana TET vary for different categories of candidates. To qualify for the HTET Exam. General Category candidates need to secure 60 percent marks.
