Eligibility Criteria

• To take admission in 9^th and 11^th standard, it is must submit the certificate of passing the previous class.
• For class 9^th the candidate should have passed class 8^th examination with Aggregate 41% in all subjects and in English too.
• For those who want to take admission in class, 11^th must have passed last year with aggregate 41% or grade-C2.
• Minimum eligibility qualification for the foreign students/NRI wards will be same as for Indian Nationals.

Jamia Milia Islamia School 2019 Application Process:

• Application form will be submitted through offline mode for prep. And class 1 admission.
• The application form for the class 6^th, 9th and 11^th will be available online. Candidate can fill the application form through online mode. Candidate can be made online payment through credit card /Debit card/Net banking.
• The Prospectus cum Admission form may be obtained from MAKTABA JAMIA LIMITED on cash payment of Rs.250/- or may be downloaded from Jamia website jmi.ac.in.
• Downloaded application should accompany a demand draft of Rs. 250/- in favor of Registrar, Jamia Milia Islamia, payable at New Delhi.
• The Duly filled-in offline application form may be submitted by the hand at the designated counters or through registered or speed post to the “Principal, Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School, Jamia Milia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, Delhi-110025, and India”.
• Admission to class Prep and Class 1 will be made through the draw of lots.
• Application forms completed in all respects for admission to classes Prep. And 1^st should reach the concerned school on or before the last date.
• Only those candidates whose names appear in the list of selected/ wait listed candidates shall be considered for admission provided they full fill all eligibility conditions.
• Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission:
• Date of Birth Certificate from the Competent category.
• Certificate of the claimed category of reservations.
• Duly filled and signed the self-declaration form.

Reservation Criteria

• 50% of the total numbers of seats are reserved for the General Category Students.
• 30% of the number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for the applicants who are Muslims.
• 10% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for the women applicants who are Muslims.
• 10% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for the applicants of “Other backward Classes” (OBC) and Scheduled tribes who are Muslims.
• 5% seats in all courses shall be reserved for differently-abled Persons in accordance with the persons with disabilities.

Examination Pattern

• The mode of examination for Jamia Milia Islamia School is Offline.
• Total 100 multiple type questions will be asked in the examination.
• Duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
• There is no provision of negative marking.
• The syllabus will be focused on NCERT books.
