Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Exam is a state board for the state of Jammu and Kashmir which is responsible for conducting the Common Entrance Exam (CET) for the Undergraduate BE degree which is Bachelors of Engineering so that candidates can take admissions in the reputed institutions in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates can apply for both Government and Private Institutions through this exam. JKBOPEE 2024 Application form for the year 2024 will be released soon. JKBOPEE 2024 Application form
The Application form will be released on the official website of JKBOPEE. The conducting authority is JKBOPEE itself through which the candidates can apply for various government and private institutes for the ungraduated Engineering degree.
The step by step procedure to fill out the application form is as follows:
- Go to the official website jkbopee.gov.in
- Tap on the tab that says “Click to Apply” and after reading all the instructions tick the box below that says “I have read the instructions”
- Then Click on “Apply”.
- The next step will be to fill in the details required and after submitting the details, an application number will be generated.
- Then make the payment through online mode.
- Now to go the “Click here to Upload Documents” Option and upload the scanned documents required.
- Submit the application form and don’t forget to take the printouts for future use.
Make sure to check the details before submitting the application form because once the form is submitted the details cannot be altered.

JKBOPEE Application fee
The application fee for the JKBOPEE is INR 1200/-
The candidates can pay the application fee through online mode
Credit card/ Debit card / Net Banking are some of the online banking methods that can be used to pay the application fee of the JKBOPEE form.
Documents Required
The Application form can only be filled through online mode and there is a number of documents that are required to fill the application form which is as follows:
- Photograph of the candidate, Signature, and Impression of the left thumb must be uploaded in the application form in JPG/JPEG format.
- Permanent Residence Certificate must be uploaded to make sure you belong to the state of Jammu and Kashmir
- Marks Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate, and Category Certificate are also required to fill out the application form.
JKBOPEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have a Permanent Residence Certificate to prove they belong to the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Candidates must have an HSC certificate from a well-known university to apply for the JKBOPEE exam
- The candidate must have scored at least 45% marks to apply for the JKBOPEE exam.
- Similarly, Candidate belonging to SC/ST and OBC candidates must also score at least 45% marks in their 12th standard
- All the candidates applying for JKBOPEE must have physics, chemistry, and Math as their main subjects in 12th
Exam Pattern
It is one of the most important exams for the students of Jammu and Kashmir who are willing to apply for an engineering degree from a reputed institute.
- The Exam paper will contain a total of 180 questions
- The exam will go on for 3 hours
- All the questions will be from 3 subjects that is Physics, Chemistry, and Math.
- The Exam paper will contain only MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
- For every Right answer, the candidate will score 1 mark and for every wrong answer, the candidate will be deducted 25 marks.
So the candidates must keep in mind the exam pattern while preparing for JKBOPEE Exam as this is one of the most competitive exams with a difficult marking system and if candidates do not pay attention to the marking system they may lose marks in the exam.
JKBOPEE 2024 Admit Card
JKBOPEE admit card will be released one week ahead of the Examination on the official website. The candidates can download the admit card using their username and password from the university website.
The candidates who will be going to give the exam must carry their admit cards with them. Along with it, they must also have Identity Proof for verification purposes. If the candidate does not have these documents with him, he/she may not be allowed to do it in the examination hall.
JKBOPEE 2024 Exam Result
- The exam result will be out on the official website within a few weeks after the exam is over
- The candidates must have their Email Id and password to download the result from the official website.
- After downloading the exam result, make sure to make printouts of the result for further use.
