Punjab ETT Admission 2024: SCERT (State Council of Education Research & Training Centre), Punjab will soon announce a 2-year program for admission to ETT. Aspirants can find the admission notification on the official site of the SCERT, Punjab only. 12th pass candidates who hold 50% marks will be eligible to apply for Punjab D.El.Ed. course. If you aspire to become a teacher in the state of Punjab, then you should possess a valid D.El.Ed. degree. Therefore individuals interested in this course can register themselves before the closing date by SCERT, Punjab. The online form filling will begin from the month of May (expectedly). Eligibility Criteria
Each and every applying aspirant should meet the eligibility criteria as laid below:
Age Limit:
The applicant’s age should not be more than 36 years as on July 2024 for the candidates of General category. Additionally, there will five years age relaxation for SC/ ST applicants.
Academic Qualification:
- An individual who has passed or appearing in the 10+2 final exam or equivalent can appear for the entrance test. However, he/ she should pass the exam at the time of admission.
- The applicant who has passed class 12th from a recognized board of education will be eligible for D.El.Ed. admission too.
- A candidate should have passed 50% of aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. If aspirants belong to Schedule caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically challenged category, then they must pass the exam with a minimum 45% of marks.
Note:
- Candidates should have studied Punjabi as a subject up to Matric level
- For all the institutions, reservation for admission will be applicable according to the Punjab government Policy.
Punjab ETT Admission 2024 Application Form
- To fill out the application form through online mode, aspirants have to access the main web page of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab.
- They will be able to see a ‘Register’ link on which they need to click and provide all the requisite information in the required fields.
- The login details will be sent to the candidates to completely fill up the application form with all the true and authentic information.
- Moreover, they should upload their scanned copies of the required documents such as passport size photographs and signature in the prescribed format.
- Then applicant will have to pay a necessary amount of application fee through online mode.
- After filling out all the details in the application form, they should agree to all the terms and conditions and submit it.
- Make sure to get a preview of the application form and then only submit it.
- It would be important to take a print out of the application form for further use.

Counseling
Candidates who qualify for ETT Punjab D.El.Ed. 2024 Counseling Round, should follow all the rules and regulations to get final admission.
Successful individuals who clear the merit list, they will be called to participate in the counseling.

Merit Criteria
According to the rules and regulations of NCTE, the General category candidates who have acquired 55% marks in 10+2 or equivalent will be eligible. There will be relaxation in marks i.e. 5% for the SC/ ST category students. The admission will entirely be based on merit. ETT Punjab Result 2024 will be formed based on the marks gained in the qualifying exam i.e. 12th. For, Higher Education there won’t be any additional marks provided. Candidates should have studied Punjabi upto the Matric level standard. To ensure high-quality standards, any candidate who has failed in subjects Hindi, Punjabi, Hindi, Maths, Science and Social Studies in class 10th examination shall not be eligible to apply for admission in D.El.Ed. course.
