Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) is one of the finest schools to provide quality education to students from classes 6th to 12th^. Rashtriya Military School Application form 

The application form for the RMS can be easily available from any of the Rashtriya Military Schools. The candidates can submit the application form personally or can even send them by post. The school accepts application forms through post.

For the application form fee, the payment can be made through Demand Draft or cash. The application form fee is INR 600 for candidates from the general category and INR 300 for students who belong to SC/ST category. 50rs extra charge for the candidates who send the application form fee through demand draft. The candidates who are willing to get accepted in the school should most definitely submit the form before the last date because after that the school will not accept any more candidates for admission.

Rashtriya Military School Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Class 6th:

• Candidates who are taking admission in class 6^th do not require any educational qualification. They just need to clear the entrance exam and interview to get admission into the school.
• The candidate must be from 10 to 12 years of age to get admission in 6^th

Class 9^th:

• For candidates who are willing to take admission in class 9^th must have completed their 8^th standard from any recognized school. Those who are appearing for 7^th class exams can also apply for admission same goes for those appearing for 5^th class exams.
• The candidate’s age must be from 13 to 15 to take admission in 9^th

Note: For candidates who are wards of personnel killed in action, there is a relaxation of 6 months in the age criteria.

Note: The interview for the 6^th class consists of 20 marks whereas the interview round for the 9^th class will consist of 50 marks and a merit list will be created on the basis of performance in all the rounds.

Syllabus

The syllabus for the RMS entrance exam is quite simple. The students appearing for 6^th class admission will have to go through the complete syllabus of the 5^th standard according to CBSE

Similarly, those who are appearing for 9^th class admissions will have to go through the entire syllabus of the 8^th class.

RMS Admit card Details

To get the admit card the candidate should make sure they have successfully submitted the application form. The admit card will be available online mode. The applicants can go to the official website and download the admit card by entering their application number and date of birth as password and the admit card will flash on the screen. The candidate must keep the printout of the admit card for future use.

RMS Selection Criteria

• The students who want to get admitted to any of the 5 RMSs should qualify for the entrance exam
• They must appear for the interview round after that
• After getting selected in the interview round, the candidate moves on to the medical fitness round. In this round, the students need to get their medical done in any of the hospitals mentioned in the prospectus. If the candidate is found physically unfit, then he is not allowed to take admitted to the school
• The merit list will be created based on all the rounds of selection and seats will be allotted to the students based on the availability of seats and reservation norms.
