Central University of Kerala Admissions

The CUK provides various courses at UG and PG level. There are many courses available for students who are interested in the fields of Science, Arts, Politics, Legal studies, international relations, Literature, Linguistics and more. The students can take admission in any of the field of study according to their interest and of course the eligibility criteria.

UG Admissions

The university provides many courses at the undergraduate level like BA, B.Com, BSc, BCA and many more under various specializations. The courses in undergraduate level takes 3 years to complete and the students should have a relevant eligibility criteria to take admission in the university’s UG courses i.e. the candidate must have completed his/her 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum acceptable marks by the university.

PG Admissions

The various Postgraduate courses provided by the university is M.Sc, MSW, MPH, and M.Ed under various specialization. Most of the post graduate courses takes 2 years to complete. The candidate having the right eligibility criteria can apply to take admission in the various courses provided by the university. The candidate will then have to appear for the entrance exam and based on that, they will be provided the right college and course.

Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG courses

• The students who are applying for UG course must have completed their senior secondary education from a relevant board with at least 50% marks
• The students should not be more than 19 years to apply for UG courses
• The students who are applying for PG courses must have completed their graduation in the relevant course from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks

• The college will be provided to the students based on their marks scored and the course chosen

To get enrolled in the PhD program organized by the university the candidate must have competed master’s degree in the related field of study with at least 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.

The selection process for Ph.D. program

• The candidate first needs to take the entrance exam called CUCET to get admission to the Ph.D. course
• The candidates with UGC/ NET qualifications need not appear for the entrance exam
• The candidate must appear for group discussion and personal interview after the entrance exam and based on the performance of all these rounds the students are offered the courses in the university.
• Candidates who have financial assistance like RGNF, MANF will be given priority when the seats are being allotted for the course.
