REET 2024: Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Ajmer, BSER Rajasthan for candidates who want to enter the field of education. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates born between 18 years to 32 years can apply for the examination.
- The reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation according to government rules.
For Primary Teacher
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks is required with a 2-year D.EL.ED (Diploma in Elementary Education).
- The final year candidates of D.EL.ED can also apply for the examination. OR
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks is required with a 4-year B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education). OR
- 2-year Diploma in Special Education with at least 50% marks aggregate in the Senior Secondary exam. OR
- Undergraduate candidates with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education D.El.Ed can also apply for the examination.
For Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8):
- A Graduation degree is required with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Candidates having Graduation along with 1-year of B.Ed course can also apply. OR
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks is required along with a 4-year (B.EL.Ed) Bachelor of Elementary Education OR
- Passed 12th or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks is required with a 4-year bachelor’s degree in B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed B.A/B.Sc.Ed are also fit to apply for REET.
REET 2024 Application Form
REET application form will be released in the month of January on the official website. Collect the application form from the online portal and fill it up along with other formalities. Visit the official website at www.rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Go through the important instructions. Press on ‘Apply Online Link’. Enter all the required important details and information in the application form. Check again the duly filled application form and submit it prior to the last date of submission. Take a printout of the application form for further use.
Application Fee
- The Application fee for one exam is Rs 550/-.
- For both the exams, the application fee is Rs 750/–

REET 2024: Important Points
- The admit card will be provided by the exam authority through an official website two weeks prior date of examination.
- Make sure for carrying a call letter at the examination center while coming for the examination.
- The merit list will be prepared for selected candidates.
- The cut-off marks will finally decide the selected candidates.
- The merit list, as well as cut-off marks, are based on the number of candidates, number of posts, etc.
- The selection procedure is based on a written examination.
- Those who are shortlisted in the written test will be called for an interview.
