RTU Kota Ph.D Admission 2023: Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is an affiliating university with 202 affiliated colleges. It offers B.Tech, B.Arch and BHMCT courses at UG level and M.Tech, M.Arch, MBA, MAM, MTM and MCA courses at the postgraduate level. Eligibility Criteria

For Full Time Research Scholar

• A master’s degree in the appropriate discipline of any recognized University/Institute or equivalent is required to apply for RTU Kota Ph.D. Admission.
• A minimum of 55% marks in aggregate where marks are awarded or minimum equivalent CGPA as defined by AICTE/UGC.
• Passed M. Phil Course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7-point scale and successfully completing M.Phil. degree shall be eligible.
• The percentage criteria will be 50% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Differently abled persons or categories decided by UGC.

For Part-Time Research Scholar

• DRC (Departmental Research Committee):

Permission of the employer in writing to the candidate, to pursue the said Program along with his/her regular duties in the organization he/she is employed

Availability of all facilities for pursuing research at the candidate’s parent organization/place of work, in the chosen field of research

Certificate issued by the employer to fulfill the residential requirements during course work and contact days with the supervisor after completion of the course work as notified by University From Time To Time.

RTU Kota Ph.D Application Form

• Candidates can apply online through the official website.
• Register online on the website by filling all the required details.
• Submit to register for DAT-2023.
• A challan no. will be generated to pay the application form fee.
• The next step is to pay the application fee of DAT 2023.
• A candidate is required to pay any other admissible charges as applicable.
• A transaction ID/token no. will be generated for the payment.
• The online application form will not accept entries without the transaction ID.
• Enter his/her transaction ID/token no to fill the online application form.
• The candidate will be allowed to fill the application form with their personal and academic details as per the requirements.

Ph.D. Admission Notification

Application Fee

• The application fee of RTU Kota Ph.D. Admission will be Rs. 3000/-
• Fees can be submitted online through Bill desk gateway facility.
• Candidate can pay the fee through credit card/debit card/net banking/another online payment gateway.
• The fee is non-refundable.

RTU Kota Ph.D Admission Process

• The admission shall be as per the Rajasthan Technical University ordinance and regulations.
• The RTU-DAT – 2023 shall be conducted at the premise of RTU, Kota only.
• A list of the applicants, eligible for the written test will be displayed only on the RTU DAT 2023 website and no individual communication will be made.
• For the schedule of the RTU-DAT examination and other updated information, candidates are advised to visit regularly on the RTU website.

Exam Pattern

• The written examination for RTU-DAT shall consist of 100 multiple-choice questions.
• Candidates need to fill in answers on the OMR sheet pattern.
• A set of 50 questions will be based on Research Methodology.
• Another set of 50 questions for the Specialization paper.
• The exam will be of two & a half hours duration.
