TS ECET 2024: JNTU Hyderabad releases the application forms of the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) on the behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. It is a computer-based entrance test for diploma holders of Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy and for B.Sc.(Mathematics) Degree Holders for lateral admission into 2nd year regular B.E. / B.Tech. courses. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be of Indian nationality and a resident of the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
- A Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy or any other Diploma
- Passed the 3-year B.Sc. Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination.
- Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy/ B.Sc
- (Mathematics) Degree with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved category) for entry into relevant courses.
- The above qualification should be passed from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh recognized by the Government of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh as equivalent.
TS ECET 2024: Application Form and Fee
Candidates have to pay the application fee either in cash through TS Online Centers or through online mode using credit card/debit card/net banking in the first step. Enter mandatory details before the payment of fees.

Check the status of their payment. Proceed to fill the application form. Enter all the required details of the application form also with the educational details. Upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as per the specifications. Take the print out of the form for future reference.
Exam Pattern
- The mode of the examination will be Online i.e. Computer-based Exam
- The Language of Exam will be English
- The duration will be 3 hours
- There will be Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
- The total number of questions will be 200
- For each correct answer, 1 mark is allotted

Marks needed to Qualify TS ECET 2024
- Candidates have to score 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects.
- There is no minimum marks for SC/ST candidates.

TS ECET Counselling
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the result of the entrance examination will be invited to participate in the TS ECET 2024 counselling and seat allotment process. TS ECET Counselling will be a web-based process and involve the various steps like payment of counselling fee, registration, choice locking, etc.
