Eligibility Criteria

Age limit:

• Candidate age must not be less than 21 years
• There is no upper age limit as prescribed.

 Educational Qualification:

For UG Programmes

• B.A. (H) and B.Sc. (H): 60% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in the specialization subject at + 2 levels (% may vary for some courses).
• B.Ed: B.A. /B.Sc. / B.Mus ( Rabindra-Sangeet / Classical) Degree with 3-Year Honours/Major subject
• B.A(Pass) in Vocational Functional Hindi: 45% marks in aggregate as well as in Hindi at +2 level
• B.Fine Arts (H): Pass in Class 10+2 or equivalent

For PG Programmes

• M.Sc: B.Sc. Passed with specialization subject and a required percentage.
• M.A.: B.A. Passed with specialization subject and a required percentage.
• MSW in Social Work: Passed BSW(H) from any recognized University with 50% (45% marks for OBC and pass marks for SC, ST, PWD candidates)
• M.Ed: At least 50% marks in B.Ed or BA. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed

For Higher Courses

• M. Phil: 55% marks at PG Level in the concerned/ allied subject and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD student
• Integrated M. Phil. /Ph.D.: Students from any discipline can apply
• Ph.D.: 55% marks in any of the disciplines of social sciences, geography, philosophy, literature, and social work at the Masters level

Visva Bharati University Admission 2022 Application Form

The application form of Visva Bharati University Admission 2022 will be available on the official website. The university will release the application forms for different courses. Candidates must keep the important documents, acknowledgment slip and fee payment Challan, certificates, photocopy of the application form, and all other documents. The candidates are requested to bring with them all the original documents like Proof of Date of Birth, Caste Certificate, Disability Certificate, Photograph (Passport size – 2 copies), Mark sheets and Certificates, etc. as well as one printed copy of their online application form.

• The mode of payment would be DR/CR card/Net banking.
• If finding difficulty in online payment, applicants can deposit it in any of the HDFC branches by taking out the challan generated via online mode.

Counselling

Candidates who obtained more than the cut-off marks will be eligible for the counseling. The authority will release the merit list of the candidates qualified on the university website. Candidates will attend the counseling round as per the number of seats available, merit, and eligibility.
