Eligibility criteria for Ph.D.

• Candidates should have a Master’s degree in any discipline from any University or other Institution recognized by this University.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Technology /Pharmacy /MCA from this university or from any other university or Institution is also applicable.
• Candidates having a Post-graduate Diploma/Degree from any University or Institution recognized by this University are also eligible to apply.

Application Fee for PhD

• The application fee for the Ph.D. program is Rs. 500.
• Pay the application fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking after 48 hours of form fill up.

BE/B.Tech, B.Arch. and B.Pharm Admission

• BE/B. Tech – 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and selection will be done through WBJEE
• B.Pharm. – 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and selection will be done through WBJEE
• B.Arch. – 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and selection will be done through NATA

ME/M.Tech, M.Pharm, and M.Arch. Admission

• For ME / M.Tech. – Engineering Graduate Degree

For M.Phil in Sociology and International Relations

• Applicants must have scored 50% (45% for PD/ OBC A/ OBC B) in a PG degree in a relevant discipline.

For M.Phil in Economics

• Applicants should have scored a minimum of 40% (40% for PD/ OBC A/ OBC B) in a PG degree in a relevant discipline.

For M.Phil in Others

• M.Phil in Comparative Literature, Cognitive Sciences, Sanskrit, Bengali, Social Science, Linguistic, Oceanography & Coastal Mgmt., History, Philosophy, Library & Information Sciences, Women’s studies, English.
• Applicants must have scored 55% (50% for PD/ OBC A/ OBC B) in the PG program in relevant discipline.

For B.A.

• The entire application process is in online mode.
• The selection is based on the merit list.
• Jadavpur University conducts entrance exams for some of the B.A, courses.

For M.A.

• The university will conduct an entrance examination for the M.A. Program.
• Application forms will be filled online for M.A. Program.

For B.L.I.Sc (Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences)

• Candidates need to create their login ID and password by registering on the official website to fill the application form.
• After registering once, candidates can apply for as many courses as they want
• There are different portals to apply for different courses.
• To ensure application for the right course, candidates should carefully choose the portal.
• Within 48 hours of filling the application form, students need to pay the fees through SBI I-Collect System.
• Candidates need to upload the fees deposit details on the website before the last date to confirm their registration.
