JEE Main 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main). Joint Entrance Exam is a national level entrance test held every year. Interested applicants can get admission into UG engineering programs in various IITs, NITs, CFTIs and other renowned institutions through this national entrance exam. They have to appear for JEE Main Paper –I for admission into B.E/B.Tech courses. Students are required to qualify JEE Main Paper –II & III for admission into B.Arch & B.Plan courses. Eligibility Criteria

  • For appearing in the JEE Main exam there will be no age limit.
  • Applying applicants must be qualified 12th class exam with an aggregate of 75% marks (65% for SC/ ST candidates).
  • Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject is mandatory at 12th For BE/ B.Tech, courses
  • Mathematics as a subject in class 12th is mandatory For B.Arch, B.Planning.
  • The candidates appearing in class 12th exam in the year 2019 are only eligible if they do not appear for JEE Main in the year 2022.

JEE Main 2022: Application Form

With the help of the NTA website, the candidates will be able to register themselves for JEE Main. The registration will begin from the first week of February 2021 for the April session. Applying aspirant candidates must register yourself through valid mail id and phone number. The authority will send complete details to it. A single applicant must submit only one application & the authority will reject more than one application. The application process will contain various steps like Image uploading, Application Fee payment, Registration, Filling up of Application form, and Printing of the JEE Main Application form. After completing the application process applicant will get an SMS/ mail on their registered mobile number or mail id regarding the successful submission of the form. Aspirants are advised to print the application form and fee payment proof for any further use in the future after completion of the application process.

Exam Pattern

  • JEE Main Exam will be organized through Online (except B.Arch drawing test)
  • The student has only 3 hours duration for the exam.
  • English, Hindi and Gujarati language will be used in the exam.
  • All the question will be objective type (except B.Arch drawing test)
  • Student get 4 marks for each correct answer
  • 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer

Counseling

After the result declaration, the only eligible applicants will be considered for counseling. The data will be handed over to CSAB/ JoSAA or the concerned State government/ institute for seat allocation after the result declaration. Applicants must register themselves on the website of the authorities conducting the counseling. In order of ranking, the concerned authority will prepare a merit list of the qualified and registered candidates. To provide their choice for course and institute the applicants will be allowed during counseling. Seat allotment will be done based on the choice made and ranking of the candidate.

  • Physics: Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Thermodynamics, Electronic Devices, Physics and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Electrostatics, Magnetic Effects Of Current, Communication System, etc.
  • Chemistry: Atomic Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Redox Reaction & Thermo-chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Hydrogen, s & p-Block Elements, Hydrocarbons, Polymers, Some Basic Concepts In Chemistry, States Of Matter, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, etc.

  • Part I: Places, Buildings, Visualizing three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings, Materials Visualizing, Awareness of persons, Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal), etc.
  • Part II: Harmony and contrast, subtraction, Creating two dimensional and three-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms, Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms, and elements, color texture, rotation, etc.
